Internal Investigations

Our team has extensive experience handling highly sensitive internal investigations involving a wide variety of alleged misconduct.  Our lawyers spend a significant amount of their practice counseling their clients and working on internal investigations, leading our Practice Group to develop strong skills handling sensitive and difficult issues with tact and consideration. In conjunction with performing internal investigations, we also monitor and coordinate with state and federal law enforcement and regulatory authorities conducting their own parallel investigations into the same conduct at issue in a pending civil lawsuit.

We have substantial experience leading complex litigation, trials, and appeals defending lawsuits alleging negligence and other claims related to misconduct.  Allegations involving sexual misconduct often involve direct allegations of abuse against a provider and institutional claims involving hiring, supervision, and retention against the healthcare institution.  Our Practice Group has experience defending both healthcare providers and institutions against both direct and indirect claims stemming from allegations of sexual misconduct.
