The Birth Trauma Defense Team of Anderson, Rasor & Partners, LLP, is a group of attorneys committed to the defense of healthcare providers in medical malpractice cases involving allegations of obstetrical and neonatal negligence. Team members have a keen understanding of the complexity of issues confronting our clients in birth trauma defense cases and the magnitude of potential exposure such cases present.

Collectively, members of the Birth Trauma Defense Team have handled hundreds of cases involving obstetrical and neonatal issues. They are knowledgeable about and have access to the necessary resources to defend birth trauma cases on all levels, including liability, causation and damages. They are also familiar with and have access to nationally and internationally renowned experts. Likewise, they are knowledgeable about the medical literature, standards of practice and professional publications that impact the defense of birth trauma cases. Team members are experienced in the use of technology in the courtroom, such as the use of multi-media systems and computer animations, and in the development of courtroom graphics suitable for the defense of birth trauma cases.

Senior team members are able to act as primary trial counsel or supervisory counsel in birth trauma cases. Also, appreciating that not all birth trauma cases are appropriately resolved by trial, team members are experienced in utilizing alternative dispute resolution techniques, such as mediation, in birth trauma cases.
