Welcome New Associates

We are happy to announce the addition of two associates to our firm.

Lucia I. Vail was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2022 and concentrates her practice of law in the firm’s areas of Medical Malpractice, Long Term Care, Personal Injury, and Premises Liability Litigation. Lucia previously worked as a litigation attorney with a Chicago law firm. Before that, she worked as an associate at a law firm in Washington, DC.

Originally from Olympia, Washington, Lucia earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Gonzaga University in 2017, with Honors. During her time at Gonzaga University, Lucia was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Upon graduation she moved to Washington, DC. Lucia received her Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law in 2020. During law school, she concentrated her studies in the school’s health law and compliance program.

Jesse M. Klein focuses his practice on a wide range of civil litigation defense matters. His areas of interest include malpractice defense, premises liability, and general tort claims defense.

Prior to attending law school, Jesse worked in supply chain management. He specialized in data analysis and was responsible for overseeing forecast analysis. Jesse implements the skills gained through his experience in account management and data analysis to the practice of law. He is fluent in Spanish.

Jesse graduated from UCLA in 2011 with a degree in Spanish and Linguistics. Also, Jesse earned an MBA from ASU in 2017. He attended UIC Law School graduating in 2023. While in law school, Jesse worked as a judicial secretary for Justice Delort of the Appellate Court of Illinois. During his time as a judicial secretary, he was responsible for handling all correspondence, legal research, and writing drafts of opinions. Jesse is a member of the Illinois bar and licensed to practice in Illinois.
