Anderson, Rasor & Partners, LLP is pleased to welcome two new partners and an associate to the firm. Bryan C. Larsen and Christopher J. May join us as Partners. Shaan R. Trivedi joins us as an Associate.
Bryan C. Larsen
Bryan is a seasoned trial attorney with 20 years dedicated to medical malpractice defense. Routinely enlisted to try matters he did not work up, he has successfully persuaded juries in the Midwest, Northeast, South, Southeast and Southwest. In fact, for the past seven years, 91% of his trials ended in either a defense verdict or at a defense settlement figure predicted many months before. His university-based molecular biology training helps him both adeptly navigate the medicine underlying litigation and skillfully challenge leading expert witnesses from academic institutions.

Christopher J. May
Christopher J. May was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1995. He has extensive experience in defending healthcare providers, including hospitals, long term care facilities, and individual physicians, in medical malpractice actions, and boasts an impressive record of jury trial victories in multiple states. Christopher also counsels healthcare entities with respect to statutory compliance, risk management, and various other legal issues. Christopher’s diverse practice also includes experience in a variety of general tort litigation matters, including construction litigation, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and property damage cases.
He also has extensive litigation experience in a broad variety of insurance defense and coverage actions. Christopher has represented insurance companies in coverage and bad faith litigation involving a wide variety of matters arising under numerous types of policies, including commercial general liability policies, directors’ and officers’ liability policies, property and casualty policies, professional errors and omissions policies, special manuscript policies, umbrella, and excess policies.
Shaan R. Trivedi
Shaan Trivedi was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 2024, at which point he transitioned from Law Clerk to Associate Attorney with ARP. He focuses his legal practice on a wide range of civil litigation defense matters, including Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, and Long-Term Care.
During his time at DePaul College of Law, Shaan gained experience as a Law Clerk at property tax appeal and civil defense firms. Originally from Naperville, Illinois, he attended the University of Iowa where he acquired an undergraduate degree in Business Data Analytics. As a first-generation law student, he is passionate about providing guidance and being a mentor for younger students. In his free time, Shaan enjoys traveling, reading, and physical exercise.
