Cindy Medina-Cervantes was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2017 and concentrates her practice in areas of Medical Malpractice Litigation, Hospital Liability Defense, and Long Term-Care Litigation. Prior to beginning her litigation career, Ms. Medina-Cervantes served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Ronald F. Bartkowicz, who presided over an individual calendar in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. Through her clerkship experience, Ms. Medina-Cervantes gained extensive experience in medical malpractice, nursing home, and general tort-litigation matters.
Ms. Medina-Cervantes received her B.A. from the George Washington University in 2012 and her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 2017. She is a recipient of multiple CALI awards for outstanding legal writing and was a member of the DePaul Appellate Moot Court Society and the DePaul Journal of Healthcare Law. During her last year at DePaul, she served as the President of the Latino/a Law Student Association (LLSA). Now as a fellow moot court Almuna, she guides law students as they prepare for moot competitions.
