Christina A. Wayman was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2017 and concentrates her practice in the areas of Hospital Liability Defense, Medical Malpractice and Long-Term Care Litigation.
Ms. Wayman previously worked as a litigation attorney, defending individuals and businesses in matters arising out of insurance coverage, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, personal injury, products liability, and premises liability.
Ms. Wayman now focuses her practice on the defense of hospitals, physicians, and long term care facilities (including nursing homes, skilled living, assisted living, independent living and rehabilitation facilities), against claims of medical and institutional negligence. Ms. Wayman has defended a variety of cases, including suicide, medication errors, surgical errors, wound prevention, and dehydration and malnutrition.
Ms. Wayman was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois and earned her B.A. in English and Politics and Government from Illinois State University in 2013. She received her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law where she received Dean’s List honors and a certificate in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Ms. Wayman is admitted to the Illinois Bar and the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and American Bar Association.
