Robert B. Austin was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1966 and concentrates his practice of law in the areas of Medical Malpractice Defense and Hospital Defense. Born in Harvey, Illinois, Mr. Austin earned his B.A. from Denison University in 1962 and his J.D. from the University of Chicago in 1965. Additional credentials include membership in the Illinois State and American Bar Associations, the Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel, the Society of Trial Lawyers (Member and Director), and the American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Austin is a trained mediator and recently was a member of the group of mediators who assisted Mercy Hospital in settling a number of their outstanding malpractice cases.
